The Singles Ministry at KBBC is vibrant and alive.
At the
center of this ministry is a Sunday School Department
with 2 classes for adult singles.
The younger class is
for singles 25-40 years old and the older class is for
singles 41 and up. Add to that a very active calendar of activities and
trips, and you'll see a ministry that you'll want to be a part of.
September 3 - 6 - Ridgecrest. A group of Singles will be going to the Singles
Labor Day Conference in Asheville, NC. Please pray for safe travels and that
God would be allowed to speak to each of us in a special way.
September 10 - Bible Study - Pavilion - Join us at 7:00 pm for dinner (bring a
couple of dollars to offset the cost) and then a Bible Study at 8:00 pm. No
children please.
September 12 - Pot luck lunch after the morning worship service - Our theme this
month is Mexican so bring a spicy dish to share with others and we'll meet in
the pavilion for a time of food and fellowship. Children welcome.
September 18th - Dinner and TheatreJax - We will be meeting for dinner at 6:00
at European Street Cafe 1704 San Marco Blvd and then heading to Theatre Jax
to see Romeo and Juliet starring our own Katina Higgins. The cost for
the play is $25.00 so please contact Karen Johnson by September 10th if you
would like to be included with the group. No children please.
September 25th - DeLeon Springs - Meet at the church at 6:30 a.m. to carpool
together to DeLeon Springs. Bring your bathing suit, towel and a change of
clothes. There are opportunities for hiking, swimming and other water
activities. There is a cost of $6.00 per vehicle or $4.00 for single occupancy. Bring money
for breakfast as we'll be going to the Old Spanish Sugar Mill to make our own pancakes before
our adventure. Children welcome.
September 29th - October 2nd - Team Impact Crusade. This is a church-wide event starting at 7:00 pm each night in the Sanctuary.
